Modern Monk and Anjali Thakur are my go to person for all my weight, health and lifestyle related issues. I lost 4.5 kgs in 10 days Detox program. Their team managed to discipline someone like me who is a total non believer in good food and timely meals. I would eat whatever I could get my hands on (read junk), anytime I could. I had an extremely bad lifestyle. But not anymore. Thanks to Modern Monk.Their nutritionist Shalini gave so many variety in diet plans that I did not find it difficult to follow. Nikita from their team would counsel me whenever I thought I could not continue with the plan. She would talk me out of eating things that were not part of plan. Not addicted to Tea anymore
This program helped me get rid of my junk food and tea cravings. Leaving tea was impossible for me but I did it with the help of Modern Monk team. I have a very hectic schedule and it was difficult for me to follow the program but I managed to bring few lifestyle changes – Drinking lots of water through out the day, eating home cooked meals, fruit or salad as evening snack, soup or only rasam rice for dinner. So many positive changes with one 10-days program. Kudos to the team!
Lost 2.5 kgs and got glowing skin
“Start by doing what is necessary then do what’s possible… And suddenly you are doing the impossible.” I don’t know what made me immediately respond to Modern Monk’s Detox Ad, probably I felt it was high time I do something. Even after enrolling for program, I was unsure but Anjali and ModernMonk team helped me get started on this detox track. I had extremely 2 tough days – cravings, headaches, hunger at odd times, felt irritated all the time. But Anjali Thakur and DrNimarjeet Kaur held my hands tight and led me ahead giving me solutions to every problem. By 3 rd day things started to fall in place. I started to love the morning smoothies, salads and taking care of myself. By the 10th day I had lost 2.5kgs and quite a number of inches. With ModernMonk’s Detox plan, I lost 2 kgs in first 7 days. I totally believe that there is no short cut to achieve good health..waking up early, eating healthy and clean, working out for at least half n hour is becoming my lifestyle now…and i am loving it. Being a hard core foodie, I was not at all sure if I can complete the program. Initial 2-3 days were too difficult for me to follow a new routine, but eventually I ended up loving it. Now I really don’t wish to change my new eating habits and exercising routine. Lost 5 Kgs in 10 days!
I came across the Detox Challenge from Modern Monk through FB post. I thought I would give it a try as I do not mind experimenting with things when it comes to weight loss. Even if I don’t lose weight, I may as well detox. The first day was horrible. I was going crazy with all the do’s and dont’s, especially because I had to give up my lifeline – coffee and not to mention the relentless headaches. Next few days the whole team #modernmonk guided me through. And believe me by the end of third day I was just fine. After 10 days, I had no coffee cravings. I felt energetic and happy. I was so elated that I made it through. This team and challenge not only helped me through but showed a lazy me that perseverance can really make wonders!
